Sheep

Each of our breeds have properties that make them useful on our farm.  We love the assortment!  We raise sheep for both wool and meat.  The breeds we chose tend to be a little slower growing than other breeds, but we have found we don’t have to grain them extensively to get a decent animal.  We like sheep that can do well on pasture.

Wool is available as raw fleece, cleaned and processed into roving, or sometimes as yarn.  We have both white and natural colored sheep.

Locker (butcher) lambs are available usually at the end of the summer and fall.
